So I watched Kamen Rider Blade about a month or so ago and I could not help but notice how Aikawa Hajime has an uncanny resemblance to the football player of Valencia FC, David Silva. I was snickering when I saw the first opening of the series with Hajime portraying a football player.

I have just watched the first three episodes of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight aka the American adaptation of KR Ryuki.

*The characters saying Kamen Rider! while they are doing the henshin thing made me want to throw things at the monitor.

*The extra cg effects for the henshin looks over done.

*The acting is flatter than a piece of paper.

*The goddamn female characters are more annoying. Okay, fine so the female Rider has not been introduced yet since it's the 1st 3 eps but damn. Is it so hard for them to make some decent female side characters?

*The fight scenes were alright at least and the music just average. I know they used some stock footage from the original Ryuki series. The added extra fight scenes were not that bad.

*I had to fast forward to some scenes in the episodes because they were just boring.

*Somehow I'm unable to sympathize or simply connect with the characters at all. Maybe it's because of the acting or what, but I can't feel anything for them. I'm supposed to pity Kit for losing his dad, but it's just not there. Knowing Len's motive for fighting didn't even enter my mind. If they show it or not, it's like it would not matter at all.

*It was better than the American version of Black RX at least. I still have nightmares over that series.

Did I feel like I was actually watching a Kamen Rider series while viewing it? No. It lacks that certain something that's always there when I watch a KR series maybe it be Den-O, Kabuto, Blade, Decade, etc.

Am I going to watch the remaining episodes? The moment Mark Dacascos shows up in the show, I'd bear and grin through the episodes he is in.

Real life has been keeping me busy of late. There's an opening for a TL position at the office. The salary is good but the work is like jumping straight to hell. My boss encouraged me to apply, however I refused knowing how much I am not the type of person who could lead a team. Feh.

I have not been paying much attention to a lot of fandom things. I've been meaning to catch up but the lack of net connection at my place is not helping matters. Sorely tempted to get Destiny's package but I'm not sure if their connection is that reliable. Besides I am not sure if I could afford to add another payable to my monthly expenses.

In work related stuff, Paris was the place to be last Valentines Day or so it seems according to the number of calls we got from people who wanted to use their debit & credit cards while they spend the big old Hearts' Day there. Was sorely tempted to tell people to actually bring in cash just in case. I sometimes wonder why people insist on travelling without some cash in hand.

Today is the effin' Derby della Madonnina and I have work! I'm going to miss the match and would probably find out the result the next day. God, how I miss my Sunday and Monday offs, I want them back.

No Kaka for Milan this derby because he got injured in the Reggina game. Still hoping for some miracle here, but, ugh, tough luck for Milan though.

Milan needs to win this one if they want to have a slim chance of getting the Scudetto.

I hate being a Milan fan at the present, I really do. God, I sometimes wish I have chosen a different club to support.

Looking at it logically though, how can one actually refuse 107 million pounds sterling? That is an insane amount of money to throw around just to buy one single player. And I can't blame the player if he does take the deal if the rumored 500,000 pounds a week salary is true.

Still, I'm hoping that Kaka refuses and fucking Berlusconi and Galliani can just go to hell. >__<

A very, very late news but Army FC first FPL champions, won over Giligan’s and Pasargad FC beat Mendiola FC for third spot. Guh. I'm looking forward to next season and hopefully it would have better coverage than this. The Philippines also ranked fifth in the Community Cup for the Homeless World Cup. It was the first time that the country actually participated and the finish wasn't that bad.
